SandyPines Hosts Free Community Training Event for Mental Health Professionals

WHAT:
SandyPines, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) facility, is hosting a free community training event for mental health professionals and community members entitled, “A Day of Awareness – Part II.” The event will address human trafficking and multicultural awareness.

WHO:
“Human Trafficking: Community Responsibility, Recognition and Response” presenters include Susan Larson, Victim Specialist, Office of the Attorney General of Florida; Twiler Smith, Victim Specialist, Federal Bureau of Investigation; and Brandy Macaluso, Crime Victim Practitioner, Coalition for Independent Living Options, Inc. Multicultural awareness training will be led by Yarelie Calo-Vidal, ORR lead clinician at SandyPines.
